How much does it cost?

The price will vary based on when you purchase. Rates may increase without notice at a later date. We suggest registering as soon as possible to lock in your rate.

Weekend cabin tickets include lodging in the cabin, food, and open bar for the parties on Saturday and Sunday. 

Weekend tent tickets include a reserved space for your tent, food, and open bar for the parties. If more than one person plans to sleep in the same tent, each individual should register separately.

 

What are the dates?

We’ll check in Saturday, September 3rd, between 10 and 11 am. We’ll check out Monday, September 5th, before 10:00 am.

Where will we sleep?

In true camping fashion, we will have communal housing, which is included in the cost of attendance for those who have purchased a cabin ticket. We will also have a women’s only dorm for women who prefer this option.

Attendees who have purchased a tent ticket, will sleep in their own tent. Tents are not provided by Sip N S'mores. 

Attendees who are sleeping in their own RV should purchase a Tent/RV ticket for each individual. A separate RV fee is required to reserve the RV space. There is only one RV fee per RV. RVs are not provided by Sip N S'mores.

While RVs are allowed. There is no water, electrical setup on site. 

What is your refund policy?

Refunds must be requested by June 1st, 2022. Refunds will be issued minus a $75 registration fee if requested by June 1st, 2022. 

What should we bring?

Twin size bed linen, mosquito repellant, and comfortable clothing. We also encourage bringing tents for you and your crew to relax under throughout the day. We’ll have an open bar at the parties, but you’re welcome to bring a personal stash for the rest of the day. While our chef will man the grill, you’re welcome to bring a grill as well.

Are guns/hunting allowed?

No. This is an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, appreciate nature and all of its inhabitants, and have a peaceful time with like-minded individuals.

What activities will we have?

You’ll have the option to sign up for kickball, sand volleyball, canoeing, archery, rock climbing, a night hike, and more. We’ll also have a lake party, costume party, and an adult campfire discussion. We encourage all attendees to participate in all events, but you can choose which ones you’d like to participate in.

Where is it located?

We’re supporting Camp Kupugani, a black owned camp about 30 minutes southwest of Rockford. It’s about a 2 hour drive from Chicago. Additional details will be provided to attendees in advance.
